AIR FREIGHT CARGO BUSINESSES' PROCEDURES FOR COMPLETING AIR SHIPMENT
Through air cargo businesses in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, a contract is negotiated between the airline and the consignor that specifies the general criteria for shipment completion.
After preparing the transport document “airway bill,” the air cargo customers will take the shipments and deliver them to the airport. The “airway bill” contains information about the shipment’s weight, dimensions, and type, as well as the shipper, freight forwarder, and consignee who will collect the shipment and his name. The documentation will also contain information about the airports of departure and arrival, the date of delivery, the length of the shipping procedure and delivery to the consignee, and other shipping conditions.
The consignee must provide the relevant paperwork to ease the transit of goods through airports by government officials.
The airlines must inform the consignee of the shipment’s arrival at its desired location, pass over the airway bill, and then transport the items in the same condition as when they were received, according to the weight and amount specified in the contract. In the event that the cargo sustains damage, compensation will be offered to the recipient or sender.
